Butler Winery, established in 1983, is the fourth oldest operating winery in Indiana. The winery and vineyard are located just 10 minutes from the NE side of Bloomington, which is also within the northern boundaries of the proposed Indiana Uplands viticultural area. This region in south central Indiana produces wines of distinctive character. Our friendly staff will be happy to give you a tour of our wine cellar and production area, just ask!

enjoy the vineyard experience to the fullest! We offer a variety of crackers, both domestic & imported cheeses, and also summer sausage & salami.
WE ALSO USE
small American Oak barrels for the aging of our Ruby Port, the dry Chambourcin Wines and the fermentation of our Chardonel.
WE MAKE OUR
wines in small batches using stainless steel tanks for the fermentation and bulk aging of the majority of our wines. We grow: Vignoles, Vidal, Chambourcin, Chardonel, Cabernet Franc and our newest, Tannat.
